Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1221: Identity exposed (A huge threat)

From MCʼs Perspective:

After going through a couple of books, I found nothing wrong with the map. Itʼs the same location. Then I placed all the books back on the shelves before leaving the library.

The librarian raised her eyebrows. She thinks that the young man is going to visit the place. She has decided to tell Elder Paul Lin about this.

On the other hand, I returned to the ground floor, but Iʼm struggling with whether to inform Elder Paul Lin. That place is dangerous. He thinks Iʼm a level-6 Wizard. So he wonʼt let me go.

My eyes flickered. I can only make the trip in secret. After figuring it out, I left the department and started heading back to the dorm building.

Shortly afterward,

When I was walking on the path, I felt a sudden heart palpitation, as if something so dangerous had set its gaze on me.

I calmed my heart. Then I realized the unknown figureʼs appearance last night.

”Someone is targeting me inside the campus. It could be Elder,” I said to myself.

Because only level-9 Wizards and above can cause me this much stress. I had killed level-8 Wizards before, so who could it be?

If this person decided to attack me inside the campus, then it would be troublesome. I just came back from the department. Should I go back and inform Elder Paul Lin?

Sigh!

A sigh escaped from my mouth. I decided to get through one more night. If the person appears again, then I will take action.

Shortly afterward,

A figure appeared on the path. The mist disappeared, and the face was revealed. He is a young man in his late twenties. He was the one who was helping Charon Perry deal with Vincent Carey.

His name is Harvey Nagle. He is a level-9 Transformation Wizard. He can use magic spells to transform into any living thing. Last night, he used transformation magic to spy on Vincent Carey.

He is doing this because of Charon Perryʼs support. On the other hand, his master is one of the Magic Palace Masters in the True Elements Society.

His name is Ned Powell, Supreme Transformation Wizard.

If not for Charon Perryʼs huge promise this time, he wouldnʼt have taken the risk to target Vincent Carey inside the campus.

He thinks Vincent Carey is a newcomer without a background. Before agreeing to Charon Perry, he did his own research as well.

Apart from an Elder who is a level-9 Wizard, Vincent Carey had no other support. So he agreed to help in the end. Even if something bad happens, his master, who is a level-10 Supreme Wizard, will rescue him.

Swoosh!

Then he disappeared from the place.

Time passed.

The librarian informed Elder Paul Lin regarding Vincentʼs search for the forbidden pine forest. Elder Paul Lin was taken aback.

But seeing that itʼs late evening, he decided to inquire about Vincent Carey the next morning.

Meanwhile,

I started searching for the forbidden pinewood forest online. There are many conspiracies and theories, but the main information was hidden.

Iʼm also searching for safe routes for travel. I think there will be no transportation to the location of the forbidden pine forest.

In that case, I can only use an airship or aircraft for that. If I had the help of Cory Anderson, then I wouldnʼt have to worry right now.

I wonder whether there is a way to contact her. My eyes gleamed with a twinkle. After pushing down the distracting thoughts, I continued to search.

Time passed in the blink of an eye.

I felt sleepy and turned off the devices before going to bed. As I lay on the bed, I couldnʼt help but think about the scenes from last night.

Swoosh!

The next second, I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion. I entered the control room and walked up to the control mirror.

In the mirror, I could see my bedroom clearly, including the window. I was looking forward to seeing the spy. If someone is daring to attack me inside the campus, then that person is not easy to deal with.

I sat on the chair and set my gaze on the mirror.

Midnight,

Harvey Nagle took the form of a night bat monster and appeared near Vincent Careyʼs dorm building.

The bat was small in size. If anyone saw the bat, they wouldnʼt take it seriously. Harvey could increase its size, but to lower the vigilance of others, he chose the smaller size.

The bat was black in color with large red eyes. It appeared near the window screen. The window was opened slightly. It entered inside and began looking for the target.

The bat circled around but didnʼt find Vincent Carey.

Harvey Nagle was surprised. He had been keeping track of Vincent Carey. He knew Vincent Carey returned to his dorm room after class.

After that, he hadnʼt walked out, which meant he should be in the room. The bat once again circled around the room.

After circling again, Harvey dismissed his spell. The night bat transformation disappeared, and he returned to his original form.

”F*ck!” Harvey cursed under his breath.

”Where is he?”

”Did he find out anything?”

”Itʼs impossible,” he said to himself without realizing someone could be hearing his conversation.

Harvey then called Charon Perry.

When the call was connected, a virtual screen appeared, showing Charonʼs live image.

”Charon, that b*stard was not in his room,” Harvey said.

”Senior, itʼs impossible! I knew his whereabouts. He should be in his room at this time,” Charon Perryʼs voice sounded from the other end.

”I think someone else has taken him. It could be the elders,” Harvey said.

”Iʼm leaving right now. If the kid comes back, text me,” Harvey said before ending the call. Then he transformed into the night bat and left through the window.

Inside the Gregor Mansion, my expression turned solemn. I was wondering about the enemy. But I didnʼt expect Charon Perry to use someone else as a knife to kill me.

”Who is he?”

”Charon Perry is addressing him as a senior brother. Charon is a final-year student. His strength is level-8. So he is someone who has higher strength or status than him,” I thought.

Iʼm once again grateful to the Gregor Mansion. Time and time again, it has helped me escape great dangers.
