Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1201: Part 2: 10th Magic Spell

From MCʼs Perspective:

A week later,

Morning, 7 am inside the mana chamber facility.

After completing the meditation, I called out the status panel.

The status panel appeared in front of me. After checking the progress, I dismissed it. Then I started to focus on the new ancient spell model.

For the past 7 days, I had put my entire focus on understanding the new spell model. Right now, I was just one step away from completely understanding the structure.

Then I started to go through the information again.

About one hour later,

[Ding! Host has understood the new spell model]

[Host can authorize to form spell model in mind: Y/N]

A mechanical voice sounded in my mind.

The next moment, I felt a huge weight being lifted off my shoulders. I knew it. When I was done with the complete understanding of the spell structure, the system would respond.

Now, I didnʼt have to worry about engraving the spell model in my mind. The system would take care of it. Then I gave the ”Yes” command to the system.

The next moment, I witnessed the engraving of a 10th spell model in my mind. There were 21 slots around the rune of the Gravity Ark Mental Method.

But only nine gravity spell models were engraved. The other 12 slots were empty. Now, this new ancient spell model filled the 10th slot around the rune of the Gravity Ark Mental Method.

The engraving of the spell model lasted another hour. When it was finished, I felt the power of the 10th Gravity Magic Spell in my mind.

I immediately called out the status panel to take a look.

The status panel appeared in front of me. My gaze immediately fell on the 10th spell model.

”Gravity Field of Time Delay,” I uttered the name.

This magic spell is extremely powerful. It will be effective against those level-8 and level-9 Wizards whose understanding of rule power is high.

Itʼs difficult to fight across ranks and kill someone with a high understanding of rule power. But with this magic spell, I can slow down the personʼs reaction, which gives me a chance to take appropriate action at that time.

But it would be overkill to use this spell against fellow level-7 or below level wizards because they would be crushed by the power of gravity first.

After calming my heart, I dismissed the status panel and stood up. Now that I have another arsenal at my disposal, itʼs time to think about the next plan.

I exited the mana chamber facility. Then I left the department without alarming others.

A few minutes later,

I returned to my dorm room. I sat on the sofa and fell into contemplation. For the past seven days, I canceled the outside noise and focused on understanding the ancient spell model.

But from time to time, I overheard the conversations of my classmates over the past seven days, especially regarding the relationship between the True Elements Society and the Anderson Family, which had soured.

The whole Ancient Redwood Country was talking about this. It had become a major issue. I knew the reason, but I didnʼt know what went on inside.

Head Howard must have gone there to ask for the captured organization members. The evidence provided to him was enough to press the Anderson Family.

But from the deteriorating news, it can be seen that the Anderson Family refused to cooperate. No one knows about this except Elder Paul Lin, Elder Stella, and Head Howard, that I was the one who gathered the intelligence.

I was hoping that the situation would soon return to normal. The True Elements Society is backed by the Mage Union. The Anderson Family wonʼt be stupid enough to offend them.

The next problem is related to the Aristocratic Families. In Particular, some wizards from the Bloodline Beast Department were stalking me.

They were constantly keeping an eye on me. Earlier, they used to send a few people from time to time to check my whereabouts.

But this time, I had the feeling that they were acting on a schedule, which was only possible if someone told them to do so.

Who could do that? Only two names came to mind.

”Charon Perry and Leona Perry,” I muttered to myself.

So far, these two people hadnʼt taken any serious action against me, especially after seeing the deterrence around me.

Elder Paul Lin and Elder Stella had already shown their stance during the council elders meeting, but I have a feeling that the Perry Family is cooking something.

And whatever they are cooking, it has something to do with me. If I leave the campus, there is a high chance of encountering a level-8 or level-9 Wizard.

So this new ancient magic spell is going to be my lifesaver. After pushing down these thoughts, I closed my eyes to take a small nap.

Meanwhile,

There were Wizards from the Bloodline Beast Department standing outside the dorm building. They were a group of people chatting and laughing.

But their real purpose was to share the current whereabouts of Vincent Carey to someone.
