Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1006: Part 2: Testing the metallic puppet

From MCʼs Perspective:

Sub-Taboo Hall,

”Senior, how did he get there?” Carolina asked.

Her face was filled with worry.

She continued, ”I am sure he will be targeted by others.”

Sigh!

”I understand what you are thinking. But it can not be helped. The Dean and Elder Galvin have their own plans. I am confident they will do anything to protect my junior brother.”

”In addition, Juniorʼs brother has experience surviving in dangerous situations. So he will return to the academy safely,” Gilbert said.

”I hope so,” Carolina replied with a small smile.

Silent Forest,

When I sensed the arrival of the Zero Puppet, I appeared outside. Seeing that puppet returned before dawn. I smiled with satisfaction. I did not want the puppet to be attacked by the ominous fog at night.

”Master, these are the storage bracelets,” Following that, the puppet pours several storage bracelets on the ground.

”Good work,” I said before turning my attention to the core part.

Then I noticed that the core power was almost depleted. Then I removed the mid-grade mana core from the puppet. Right after, the puppet becomes deactivated.

Then I moved the puppet into the system space. My gaze then fell on the storage bracelets on the ground. I then collected all the storage bracelets in the system space.

The Puppetʼs attack appears to have killed more than 20 Wizards. After gathering my thoughts, I looked around the area. The omnipresent fog will undoubtedly appear at nighttime.

Swoosh!

So I returned to the Gregor Mansion. When it was night time. The weird black smoke starts to appear from the deepest part of the forest.

In the control room, I am looking in the mirror. The outside scene was dark. But I can still tell the difference between the Black Smoke and other things.

On the other hand, the remaining wizards on the mountain range have suffered the attack of the black ominous fog.

One after another black fog reaped their lives. Only the camps of the rich noble families have managed to minimize the attack.

Even their Peak Wizard was helpless against the weird ominous fog. For a long time, no one had solved this mystery.

For some reason, the Lizzen State sees it as an opportunity to deter other foreign forces. So any powerful nation would think twice about invading the Lizzen, Tribe, and Lawless countries.

The following day,

I got up early. After finishing the morning routine. I decided to practice, but first I transferred the looted storage bracelet from the system space to the ground.

Then I began removing the seal and pouring the contents onto the floor. Clothing, attributed mana stones, magic artifacts, magic scrolls, letters, and some unidentified items are all present.

However, for unidentified items, I can use the system probe function.

I then proceeded to probe one item after another. To my surprise, some of these items are related to potion making, while others are related to weapon type magic. None of them are beneficial to me.

Finally, upon my return to the academy, I decided to give it to others.

Then I sorted out the items before sitting cross legged on the ground for the meditation. Then I placed mid grade mana stones near me.

I held one in my hand and closed my eyes and started to run the meditation method.

As the Gravity Ark Mental Method starts to run, I begin to focus on attracting the Grey color mana. As the time passed, the Grey color mana entered my body.

I started to guide the energies according to the mental method. After circulation the mana entered the mana core space.

Because of the limit, the mana core is absorbing the mana at a slow rate.

Seeing that I continued to focus.

A few hours later,

I opened my eyes and thought of the status panel.

The Status Panel showed up. Then my gaze shifted to the information. Taking into account the increase in both physical and passive abilities. I felt that the loss of mana stones was justified.

Following yesterdayʼs plunder. I do not need to worry about a lack of mana stones.

Before heading to the bathroom, I closed the status panel.

After a while, I emerged outside after changing clothes. I wore the mask to hide my identity. A brief gleam appears in my eyes as I gaze at the mountain range.

I decided to leave the mountain range today.

Swoosh!

Then I appeared in mid-air and began flying towards my destination.

Time passed,

I have traveled a few miles with no problems. On the way, I saw a few people. But nobody came to bother me. When they saw my direction, they must have assumed I was fleeing the scene in terror.

Which helped me to save a lot of time. Soon, I left the inner area and reached the outskirts. It will be a matter of time before I reach the border.

Previously, there was the purple crystal airship at the border. I am not sure whether I will use it this time.

The area on the outskirts was not large. So I did not spend much time getting to the border. When I got to the border. The guards instructed me to land on the ground.

There are different routes. After touching the ground, I swept my gaze across the place. I can see that people are standing in line.

In comparison to the number of returning, there are more people who are ready to go.

”Give us your I.D?” One of the guards asked.

Hearing this, I frowned and asked, ”Is it necessary to reveal my identity?”

The guards looked at each other. It is unusual for people to return from a forbidden place. Typically, these are high-profile individuals. These guards are intelligent; they do not want to offend others for no reason.

”I will ask my superior,” the guard said as he exited the checkpoint.

The other guard had a wary expression. Seeing that, I stood cross-armed. I could have sneaked in secretly. But my whereabouts were already known. So I am curious whether the Lizzen State officials are as welcoming as the Tribal Wizards.

Not long after, a middle-aged man in a tuxedo appears. Seeing that, I immediately used the probe function on him.

”Level-9 Wizard,” My heart sparked a storm. What is the Peak Wizard doing here?

”I remember there was no level-9 Wizard here when I last left this place,” I said in my heart.

The blue-suited official approached me with a smile.

”Who might you be?” he inquired.

”I am sorry, I can not reveal my identity. But I will not stay in your country. I need to travel somewhere else,” I replied.

The middle-aged manʼs expression tightened. He tries to see through the visitorʼs strength. But he was unable to do so.

”What is it?” He muttered to himself.

Either the person is stronger than him, or he is using a concealment artifact.

His eyes conveyed greed. His family has assigned him the task of capturing Vincent Carey, a rising wizard. He considered resting until then. But he did not expect to receive a windfall right now.

The next moment, he changed his tone.

”Ha...Ha..Ha..., you do not have to reveal your identity. The airship to the border will arrive the next morning. If you want, you can stay in our guest mansion until then,” the middle-aged man explained.

The guards are taken aback after hearing this. They were aware that the area was off limits. The facility is only open to guests.

[Ding! Warning]

[The person is showing extreme greed]

[Host is advised to be careful]

On the other hand, I heard a mechanical voice in my head.

But I showed no reaction on the outside. I simply accepted his arrangement. All I want is to step inside the land. Then I can leave whenever I like.
