Flower Stealing Master

Chapter 1088: Brothers-in-Arms

Song Qingshu snorted, “That was just an appetizer.”

“Then what’s the main course?” Cheng Yaojia’s cheeks flushed, her eyes shimmering with an unusual light.

Song Qingshu stepped forward and swept her up in his arms, saying gruffly, “The main course is, of course, my lady!”

Earlier, because Yelu Nanxian had just lost her v!rginity, he was worried she couldn’t handle it, so he had held back, resulting in an awkward ending. Coupled with this misunderstanding, he had been harboring a burning desire that needed to be released.

Cheng Yaojia exclaimed in surprise, her eyes darting around as she said, “Didn’t Miss Yelu feed you enough just now…?”

Song Qingshu smiled wickedly, “Didn’t Young Master Lu ask me to help you c0nceive? As the saying goes, ‘A man who accepts a commission must be loyal to it,’ I will do my utmost until my dying breath.”

Cheng Yaojia let out a soft m0an, burying her head in his chest. Her thin skin couldn’t compare to Song Qingshu’s hardened composure.

Song Qingshu laughed heartily, carrying her towards his room.

“Eh, Young Master Lu, still awake so late?” They hadn’t walked far when they bumped into Lu Guanying. Lu Guanying looked exhausted, but his eyes occasionally flashed with excitement, clearly having spent the entire night studying the Evil Exterminating Sword Manual, immersed in its profound martial arts.

“Ah?” Lu Guanying finally noticed him and subconsciously replied, “I was feeling a bit dizzy from looking at things, so I came out for some fresh air. Young Master, what’s wrong?” He then finally noticed Cheng Yaojia in the other man’s arms, his expression becoming incredibly complex.

“Oh no, oh no, why did I have to run into him at this time?” Cheng Yaojia lamented, burying her head tightly in Song Qingshu’s chest like a panicked ostrich.

Song Qingshu, however, remained calm, smiling as if nothing had happened. “I just brought your wife out to enjoy the moon, and now we’re going back to sleep.”

Cheng Yaojia nearly fainted. Being caught by her husband with her lover was embarrassing enough, and now he was deliberately saying this—wasn’t that enough to provoke Guanying?

Lu Guanying’s face twitched. He didn’t know how to respond for a moment, finally managing to stammer, “Thank you for your trouble, Young Master.” His intention was to get Cheng Yaojia pregn@nt, which probably wouldn’t be so easy, but the words sounded completely off.

Cheng Yaojia rolled her eyes. Her husband’s words were even more nonsensical, and she couldn’t help but feel a sense of absurdity. There was probably no other relationship in the world as complicated as theirs: the wife openly having an aff@ir, and the husband not only wasn’t surprised but even seemed to be worried that the lover wasn’t putting in enough effort…

“Young mistress is beautiful and charming; it’s not a tiring job at all, but rather quite enjoyable,” Song Qingshu said, having already provoked her enough, before changing the subject. “The martial arts recorded in the Evil Exterminating Sword Manual are extremely profound. Young Master, when you practice, don’t be greedy for quick results. If you encounter any doubts, you can always ask me.”

Lu Guanying’s face was originally extremely ugly. Although he was now impotent, it was still a short time since he became this way, and his masculine mentality hadn’t fully recovered. He had already felt uncomfortable seeing his wife in another m@n’s arms in the middle of the night, and with these repeated provocations, he couldn’t help but feel a surge of lust, almost rushing forward to take his wife back without thinking.

Just as he was hesitating, he suddenly heard the title “Evil-Repelling Sword Manual.” Lu Guanying immediately calmed down. His yearning for profound martial arts ultimately overcame his last remaining pitiful pride, and he subconsciously answered, “I did encounter a few problems just now. While practicing according to the methods in the manual, I felt my blood and qi churning…”

“That’s an imbalance of Yin and Yang energies…” Song Qingshu casually explained for him.

And so, in this question-and-answer session, Song Qingshu answered several of his doubts, leaving Cheng Yaojia extremely frustrated. These two men were really something else! Was this the time to ask for martial arts advice? She had become the outsider.

A deep resentment welled up inside Cheng Yaojia. She secretly pinched Song Qingshu’s waist, and Song Qingshu, slightly startled, quickly recovered, saying, “Haha, Young Master Lu, it’s getting late. As the saying goes, a moment of passion is worth a thousand pieces of gold. You can ask about other matters another time.”

Cheng Yaojia, in his arms, almost wanted to disappear into the ground in embarrassment. What did he mean by “a moment of passion is worth a thousand pieces of gold”? Was this how one spoke to their husband?

Lu Guanying also had a strange expression, awkwardly smiling, “I apologize for my rudeness. I won’t disturb you two any longer.” He also felt this was a mess; what was going on? However, his main focus was currently on the Evil Exterminating Sword Manual, constantly reciting Song Qingshu’s instructions, afraid he might forget them later.

Seeing his expression, Song Qingshu laughed heartily and carried Cheng Yaojia back to his room.

“You…” Upon entering the room, Cheng Yaojia was about to complain when Song Qingshu silenced her with a ki$$.

“Hmm…uh…” Cheng Yaojia was somewhat surprised by the other’s roughness, but strangely, she didn’t find it offensive at all; instead, she felt inexplicably hot all over.

With a few quick movements, Song Qingshu undre$$ed her and pushed her onto the bed. After a heart-stirring cry, the entire bed began to shake violently.

*****

The next morning, Song Qingshu woke up refreshed. He saw Cheng Yaojia lying beside him, her hair disheveled, like a flower ravaged by a storm, yet possessing a unique beauty.

His fingers brushed her delicate face, and Song Qingshu couldn’t help but sigh inwardly, “No wonder everyone says other people’s w!ves are better; at least you don’t have to worry about them…”

Suddenly, the image of Yelu Nanxian, tearful and beautiful, flashed through his mind last night. His expression shifted. Seeing that Cheng Yaojia showed no signs of waking up anytime soon, he quickly dressed and headed towards Yelu Nanxian’s room.

[I’m leaving!]

Looking at the note in his hand, Song Qingshu smiled bitterly. After what had happened, this outcome wasn’t unexpected. He was experienced, or perhaps thick-skinned enough, to remain calm. For a young woman facing such a drastic change, it was already a miracle she hadn’t tried to k!ll herself.

“She even left a note.” Looking at the delicate yet spirited handwriting, Song Qingshu’s initial disappointment suddenly turned to joy.

Leaving Yelu Nanxian’s room, he unexpectedly ran into Lu Guanying again. This time, Lu Guanying also saw him, his expression clearly unnatural.

Song Qingshu stepped forward and smiled, “Young Master, you’re up so early?”

“Last night I was completely immersed in the mysteries of the Evil Exterminating Sword Manual, and before I knew it, dawn had broken.” Lu Guanying wasn’t entirely truthful. He had indeed been studying the Evil Exterminating Sword Manual all night, but the faint sound of his wife’s voice in the distance had disturbed him, so saying he was completely immersed was a stretch.

“Young Master, you should balance work and rest. Getting so deeply involved will only lead to a lower level of attainment, and you could easily go astray,” Song Qingshu said seriously.

Lu Guanying’s expression hardened. “Thank you for your guidance, Young Master!”

“It’s not guidance. We’re family now, Young Master, why be so polite?” Song Qingshu put his arm around Lu Guanying’s shoulder, speaking with great enthusiasm.

“Family…” Lu Guanying murmured, a bitter feeling welling up inside him.

“If Young Master ever encounters any difficulties in the future, just ask. As long as it’s within my power, I won’t hesitate to help,” Song Qingshu said, patting Lu Guanying’s shoulder to show his affection.

Lu Guanying felt a surge of warmth. Although the thought of his w!fe writhing and submitting beneath him made him feel somewhat awkward, the other man’s enthusiasm made him feel much better. At least it was a thousand times better than that damned Tang Kuo Bian; that man would just leave after he was done, while Song Qingshu at least fulfilled his obligations.

“I do indeed have a difficulty right now…” Lu Guanying stammered, hesitating whether to wait a couple of days to discuss it, which seemed less transactional, or to strike while the iron was hot.

Song Qingshu smiled, “There’s no need to distinguish between you and me now, Young Master. Just speak freely; there aren’t many things in this world I can’t do.”

Infected by his enthusiasm, Lu Guanying impulsively blurted out, “Actually, I want to save Lord Han Dingxiao…” He briefly explained the situation, then nervously watched Song Qingshu’s reaction, afraid of being refused.

“This…” Song Qingshu’s brows furrowed immediately.

“Is it very difficult?” Lu Guanying asked anxiously.

“Indeed, it is somewhat difficult,” Song Qingshu’s words made Lu Guanying’s heart sink, but his next sentence filled him with joy, “If anyone else asked me for help with this, I would definitely refuse without hesitation, but given Brother Lu’s current relationship with me… since Brother Lu has asked, I will do it no matter how difficult it is.”

“Young Master has agreed?” Lu Guanying asked in surprise.

Song Qingshu nodded: “Brother Lu, there’s no need to be so formal in the future. Just call me Qingshu or Brother Song.”

“Brother Song… Brother Song!” Lu Guanying knew his place and dared not call him by his name directly. The title “Brother Song” was enough to excite him for a long time, given the vast difference in their martial arts skills and status in the martial world.

“By the way, it seems the imperial court has also sent people to meet us. I’ll try to contact them first. If we join forces, our chances of success will be much greater.” Lu Guanying suddenly remembered something and hurriedly said.

“The imperial court?” Song Qingshu quickly realized that Lu Guanying was referring to the Southern Song Dynasty. Thinking about it, it made sense. With such a major incident happening here, the Southern Song court couldn’t possibly ignore it.

“Alright, thank you for your hard work, Brother Lu.” Song Qingshu nodded, watching Lu Guanying’s departing figure. He seemed thoughtful; it was better to have someone from the Southern Song side, saving him the trouble of leading the charge, and also providing an opportunity to make contact with the Southern Song court…

“Reporting to the Chief, traces of the Mount Song Sect have been discovered near Yuqing Temple.” Just as Song Qingshu was pondering, a subordinate from the Golden Dragon Gang ran over to report.

“The Mount Song Sect?” Song Qingshu raised an eyebrow, his expression becoming playful. What was the Mount Song Sect’s purpose in appearing here?

Back in his room, he found Cheng Yaojia already sitting in front of the dressing mirror, getting ready. Song Qingshu walked up behind her and hugged her: “Would my lady do me the honor of accompanying me for a stroll?”
