Essence Devouring Art

Before the Primordial Sect was even created, its entire system had already been established.

For this mission, he would descend upon the Fallen God Realm as a Sixth-Grade Divine Envoy!

In the Border Wilderness of the Nether Ancient Dao State.

The Fallen God Realm!

At this moment, within the cosmos where this world resided, the many Immortal Dao influences were still unaware that a conflict about to sweep the Grand Cosmos was on the verge of eruption. Many Holy Lands, even the supreme ones, were wreathed in immortal mists. Sutras were being recited and the Dao was being taught, creating an atmosphere of an Immortal Realm everywhere.

However, the Fallen God Realm was not some reclusive, independent world.

After its information was concealed by the Pulse Fixing Wheel, its disappearance still caught the attention of many nearby Holy Lands in the surrounding Great Thousand Worlds.

”How did the Fallen God Realm suddenly disappear?”

”We can’t reach them with Communication Jade Talismans either.”

”Oh no... the Primordial Sect!”

Within the Juxia Sacred Land—the Overlord Holy Land of the Great Thousand World closest to the Fallen God Realm.

Numerous Supreme Elders...

...suddenly sensed the Fallen God Realm vanish from their Star Map. All communication with it was completely cut off. In an instant, their expressions changed drastically!

This familiar modus operandi...

...instantly brought the notorious Primordial Sect to mind!

”Die!!”

BOOM—

But before they could react, a heaven-shattering, thunderous roar mixed with a cold, murderous cry suddenly erupted throughout the Great Thousand World. It echoed through the vast cosmos, and everything within their perception began to flicker and shatter violently!

Their perspective shot upward at incredible speed!

Outside the space-time crystal walls of the Great Thousand World housing the Juxia Sacred Land, amidst the brilliant star rivers and the deep cosmos, a Divine Fist emerged without any warning!

THOOM THOOM THOOM—

As the Divine Fist descended!

It was as if a Heaven-Opening God and Demon was striking!

Space-time shattered and clusters of stars exploded!

Wherever the Divine Fist passed!

Vast superclusters of galaxies spanning untold billions of light-years collapsed and were annihilated. Worlds as numerous as grains of sand were reduced to dust. The laws of order snapped with a CLANG CLANG CLANG, as the blow tore a vacuum black hole straight through the cosmos!

”A Saint Master? Above the Twentieth Layer of Heaven...”

BOOM!!

The Great Thousand World was ripped apart and annihilated!

The old Saint Masters of the Juxia Sacred Land had just barely perceived the attacker. Before they could even react, the outer layer of their Great Thousand World was vaporized into nothingness by the aftershock of that single punch!

”Aargh! You bastard!”

The Saint Master Realm Supreme Elders of the Juxia Sacred Land struggled to shield their home. As they watched the Great Thousand World that had prospered for tens of millions of years get destroyed in an instant, they all roared, their eyes practically splitting with fury!

But!

Their despair had just begun!

VMM!!

Almost at the same instant the Saint Master from the Human World struck at the Fallen God Realm, an even more vast and furious pressure, that of a Venerable, erupted from within the Fallen God Realm like an ancient volcano!

This was no metaphor!

It was a literal volcanic eruption!

An endless tide of crimson Karmic Fire gushed out from the Fallen God Realm—a world now as tiny as a dust mote—and flooded the Grand Cosmos. It shook massive celestial structures to their core. Wherever it passed, innumerable stars were extinguished, and Great Thousand Worlds were instantly vaporized into ash!

”Hahaha, good! The Primordial Sect wasn’t even looking for you, yet the Human World delivers itself to our door! All of you will be staying here permanently!”

A tyrannical, demonic voice shook the Nine Heavens and Ten Domains!

The Red Lotus Demon Lord, the first to emerge from the endless Karmic Fire, was like a Purgatory Demon God reborn. His magnificent Dao form shot up to the heavens, and with his Karmic Fire Dragon Veins, he seized control over the myriad threads of law and order in the Grand Cosmos.

Before him, the vast, surrounding Great Thousand Worlds were reduced to mere interstellar dust, orbiting his form as they were violently vaporized and extinguished!

’The Primordial Sect... the Human World...’

’How did these two cancers start fighting each other?’

’And of all the places for them to fight...’

”May you die a horrible death!”

BOOM!

The boundless Karmic Fire surged, blanketing the cosmos!

It instantly submerged the struggling Juxia Sacred Land. Under the might of a Venerable, the few Saint Master Realm Supreme Elders couldn’t resist, even fighting with all their might. They uttered venomous curses as they were turned to ash!

Within the Primordial Sect, there were no kind souls.

An old Demon like the Red Lotus Demon Lord, famous for ages, had been indifferent to life even when he was weak. He had absolutely no qualms about collateral damage!

”The Primordial Sect, the Human World... damn beasts, both of them! Run!!”

”Report to the Emperor’s Lineage, quickly!”

”A Venerable! A Fifth-Grade Divine Envoy, and a Six-Star Elder from the Human World... have these two cancers gone insane?!”

The commotion at the Fallen God Realm was impossible to hide!

Across the cosmos, one major power after another witnessed the terrifying scene of the Red Lotus Demon Lord’s attack through their Cosmic Observation Mirrors. While sending reports to their respective Emperor’s Lineages, they frantically fled the battlefield!

However, the region of the cosmos where the Fallen God Realm was located was in the Border Wilderness of the Nether Ancient Dao State. No Imperial Influence was stationed there. It was the best target region Ji Bu and his team had scouted, a place where reinforcements couldn’t possibly arrive in time!

Therefore...

THUD!

The cosmos shattered, and Karmic Fire incinerated the world!

Even the images in the Cosmic Observation Mirrors grew blurry!

The moment he arrived, the Red Lotus Demon Lord displayed the peerless might he had honed over tens of thousands of years in the Demon Dao. Wielding the Karmic Fire of Hell itself, he killed the Saint Master from the Human World who had struck first, refining him to death in the middle of the cosmos with a single punch!

But that punch!

...also sounded the final clarion call for war between the two factions!

”Red Lotus Demon Lord? Let me tell you something: not a single person from the Primordial Sect will leave here alive today!”

VMMMM—KRAKA-CRACK!

An endless cold aura rapidly spread from a shattered Space-Time Channel. The Taiyin Qi froze the cosmos, plunging everything it touched into a silent, frigid stillness.

A Venerable from the Human World came charging out!

Without another word, he unleashed a torrential assault on the Red Lotus Demon Lord!

”Kill!”

”Annihilate them!”

”The Primordial Sect is bullshit! A faction that’s only been around for a few years dares to challenge us? They truly don’t know their own limits!”

RUMBLE—

At the same time, the Grand Cosmos shook violently. Terrifying shadows, wreathed in auras of ultimate destruction, surged forth from one shattered Space-Time Channel after another. One by one, Venerables from the Human World descended!

Even Great Venerables!

The Asura Emperor’s Tomb!

It involved a Great Emperor from the Netherworld and was inextricably linked to one of the Human World’s most crucial plots.

The Human World had been searching for a long time. Only recently had they obtained a key artifact that allowed them to pinpoint the Nether Ancient Dao State, which was why they had dispatched so many of their main forces!

Therefore, the moment the Emperor’s Tomb in the Fallen God Realm was detected... it was like they had kicked a hornet’s nest!

But!

The Primordial Sect of today was a hornet’s nest of its own—the kind where if you strike down the young, the old will immediately appear!

”Those who insult the Divine Sect shall die!!”

BOOM!!

An ancient, demonic voice reverberated through the Grand Cosmos!

Within the Fallen God Realm, Karmic Fire so crimson it was almost black erupted forth!

Almost at the same instant the Red Lotus Demon Lord struck, his master, the Karma Fire Demon Venerable—an old Demon and a Great Venerable whose Mighty Power was even greater—also descended.

Hearing the Human World dare to insult the Primordial Sect, he flew into a rage and instantly unleashed an attack that swept across the entire battlefield!

’The Primordial Daoist Venerable had given him a new life!’

’He had been returned from the bleak twilight of his years, his heart dead and his end near, to the prime of his strength when he dominated the world. His faith was incomparably devout and pure!’

’To dare blaspheme the Divine Sect!’

’Having one’s soul extracted and refined would not be enough to atone for such a crime!’

””Those who insult the Divine Sect shall die!!””

After the Red Lotus Demon Venerable, one after another, Venerables and Great Venerable Demons whose demonic might once shook the All Heavens descended from the Faith Channel, their killing intent palpable!

”Summon the Nether God! If they want to fight to the death, then let’s wipe them all out! I’d like to see just how many Venerables they have!”

But the Human World, a great power of the All Heavens with an ancient heritage, was no pushover!

Their Great Venerables were only stunned for a moment. They immediately communicated with the Human World’s headquarters in a distant, unknown land, established a connection with the Nether God they sponsored, and opened a Faith Channel to call for reinforcements!

Starting a war in the Qingming World was not a wise strategy.

The many Emperor’s Lineages of the Qingming World were not a bunch of useless freeloaders who would just stand by and let them wreak havoc in this part of the cosmos.

Furthermore, the Primordial Sect was a cancer on par with the Dragon Hunting Tower. If this dragged on, both sides would surely be besieged and wiped out by the forces of the Qingming World!

But the Asura Emperor’s Tomb involved the Netherworld.

It was a plot the Human World had been working on for hundreds of thousands of years.

They absolutely could not abandon it!
