Emperor’s Domination

“Thank you for enlightening us, Sir.” Li Xuansu bowed deeply and Violet Dragon did the same.

Li Qiye accepted their gesture and asked the young ones: “What will you all do now?”

They exchanged glances and Li Xian answered first: “I must return.”

“Right, I have to go back to Desolate Frontier.” Mu Hu said softly.

They have just lost Everlasting Jiang. Although he wasn’t a core member to be part of the funeral procession, he still needed to be back.

“Coincidentally enough, I need to visit Desolate Frontier for a look.” Li Qiye glanced at the horizon.

“It is an honor to have you as our guest, Young Noble.” Mu Hu didn’t know Li Qiye’s true identity but still considered it his sect’s honor.

“Should we go to Desolate Frontier?” Princess Chen asked her peers.

After a brief discussion, they decided to visit Desolate Frontier. As for Li Xuansu and Violet Dragon, they wanted to enter isolated cultivation so they bid goodbye to the group.

Bronze-blade did the same, promising to obey Li Qiye’s command in the future.

Li Qiye’s group began the journey to Desolate Frontier. Along the way, the young ones asked him questions whenever they had the chance.

“Don’t need to take advantage of this.” Li Qiye shook his head and smiled: “Follow Black Witch Monarch, that is the biggest opportunity of your life.”

“Hmm, should we?” Monk Zhu was unsure.

Li Qiye had brought this up before but Black Witch Monarch refused right away. The four young saints didn’t take it seriously then.

However, they found out Li Qiye’s true power and took his words rather seriously.

“What, am I going to trick you four?” Li Qiye smiled.

They contemplated the suggestion carefully. Although they didn’t know Black Witch Monarch’s identity, they witnessed his power firsthand. However, they came from prestigious sects.

Therefore, Li Qiye’s suggestion didn’t make practical sense.

“We already have masters.” Monk Zhu said.

“If Lankavatara Temple knows of this, they will become ecstatic and laugh with joy.” Li Qiye said.

Monk Zhu became a bit awkward. Was their temple so inferior to Black Witch Monarch?

“Doubt is unnecessary. Your ancestor, Visceraless Young Noble, is no big deal either.” Li Qiye said.

The group understood Visceraless’ place in the world. Even overlords feared his gauntlet, so just how effective was this black witchcraft? They recalled Black Witch Monarch’s haughty personality and wondered if it was true.

Finally, they saw Desolate Frontier from a distance. Its aura couldn’t be mistaken because it was the only place in Old World that had experienced the emergence of an immortal.

When Desolate Ancestor was around, it was the strongest lineage in Three Immortals. Five-element Mountain, True Dragon Court, and others couldn’t compare.

Most believed Desolate Frontier was created by her. However, another legend stated that she came from Desolate Frontier when it didn’t have this name.

As she became stronger, she rebuilt it and made it prosperous. She made its foundation immensely strong and untouchable. Because of this, it remained mighty in her absence, still having five ancestors and twelve emperors.

The youths became emotional after seeing the immortal energy. It became apparent just how mighty this place was.

The so-called frontier had numerous sects and kingdoms. However, the core was a place known as Desolate Domain - home to disciples and emperors.

Their sect had plenty of territories but seemed tiny compared to Desolate Domain alone. The wondrous sights such as divine trees, immortal radiance, flood dragons, and celestial rivers astounded spectators.

“Look at how nice and big this place is yet you never invited us.” Princess Chen complained to Mu Hu.

“You all never said you wanted to come.” Mu Hu said.

“You never said you were a disciple here, we would have visited otherwise.” Princess Chen glared at him.

“You never asked either, hehe.” Mu Hu played dumb.

“I should be the one complaining, I was the only one honest about my background and acted like a clown because of it.” Orchidcore said.

“Amitabha.” Monk Zhu evaded the accusation.

Orchidcore thought he had the best background because the Mu was a powerful clan. Alas, it stood no chance against the other lineages, just a small sect in comparison.

“Which branch are you from? Be honest for once.” Princess Chen elbowed Mu Hu.

“What branch? I am from Desolate Frontier.” Mu Hu said.

“I might not be from here but I’m not dumb, are you under the branch of a primal ancestor?” Princess Chen was unhappy with the answer.

“No such thing, we’re all members of Desolate Frontier.” Mu Hu coughed.

“We’re gonna teach you a lesson together if you don’t drop the act.” Orchidcore and the others warmed up.

“Okay, fine, I surrender.” Mu Hu couldn’t handle them crowding around him and said: “I’m just a nobody here, not qualified to be in any branch.”
