Crazy Leveling System

Chapter 990

“This makes the fifth group!” Yi Tianyun said as he looked at the 30 Tokens he had right now. He didn’t particularly search for tokens, but people kept going after him, expecting that he was just some abandoned puppy! Yi Tianyun truly took advantage of being alone!

Being alone was definitely the reason why the cultivators kept attacking him, but then again, being alone had its own disadvantages, and that was information! Yi Tianyun could never know how many people had been disqualified or what others were doing as he didn’t really have the time to look around.

However, Yi Tianyun wasn’t worried at all as the opponent kept coming. Therefore, he didn’t have to search for them himself. At the same time, while countless skirmishes took place around the land, a large group of people were observing everything that happened during the War of Ascension!

Nian Ciyu and the Elders were among them! This also included Yu Yanglong and the Territory Lord himself! There are other experts, too, obviously from other God Domains, sitting on the edge, observing their own cultivators. In the sky, the War of Ascension’s rank was displayed, listing the participant that had the most tokens.

1st place: Tian Qing with 278 tokens.

2nd place: Yun Lei with 170 tokens.

3rd place: ….

Of course, Yi Tianyun was also on the leaderboard, but his number was low compared to other top rankers. Nevertheless, the leaderboard kept shifting as so many groups were still in battle.

The Elders kept their eyes on their disciples’ names as they anticipated their disciples to get into the top 100.

“Yi Tianyun and Xiao Murong’s rank is still too low! They still have too few of a token to compete in the top rank!” one of the Heavenly Edict Divine Territory Elders said with a frown on his face. They expected both their genius disciples to reach the top 100. On the contrary, Yuan Tianyou’s ranking was slightly higher than these geniuses!

“Yuan Tianyou’s performance isn’t bad! He gets a lot of tokens thanks to Sikong Ma’s leadership!” The elders nodded their heads as they liked what they saw. Although it was a little bit unexpected, it was a good result nonetheless.

“Still, many of our disciples are getting disqualified!” Yu Yanglong said with a frown on his face.

“Well, they probably get ambushed and lose!” One of the elders said, as his eyes were glued on the leaderboard instead of properly observing the battlefield! Sikong Ma formed a group, allowing him to minimise his losses as long as he didn’t attack a stronger group than his.

“Heavenly Edict Territory Lord, I heard you have a good foreign aid this time! But I didn’t think their rank is that high!” Nine Territory Lord smiled beside Heavenly Edict Territory Lord, obviously trying to unnerve Heavenly Edict Territory Lord.

Heavenly Edict Territory Lord just looked at Nine Territory Lord unamusedly. He knew that the news about him using foreign aid in this War of Ascension must have been spread, but nevertheless, it wasn’t something that he had to be ashamed about.

“Thank you for your concern, Nine Territory Lord, but it’s just the beginning. The ranking can always change.” Heavenly Edict Territory Lord responded with a smile on his face.

“That is true, but with such a rough start, it would be difficult for them to advance later.” Nine Territory Lord said with a prideful look on his face. Obviously, his participants were doing better than Heavenly Edict Divine Territory’s participants.

Usually, Heavenly Edict Divine Territory and Nine Divine Territory’s relationship was neutral, but in a situation like this, they couldn’t help but want to brag about their disciples’ achievements.

“It’s typical of Heavenly Edict Divine Territory! Well, if I also use a foreign aid this time, I wonder if I can raise our overall ranking.” Fire Jade Territory Lord said with a smirk on his face, clearly in cahoots with Nine Territory Lord.

Heavenly Edict Territory Lord knew that he couldn’t express his disgust, but there was nothing he could do to change the topic of the conversation as he was at the bottom of the barrel right now. The God Domain that housed the first rank cultivator didn’t say anything as they were obviously trying to keep their composure.

Nevertheless, they are overjoyed on the inside.

Heavenly Edict Divine Territory surely wasn’t one of the joyful God Domains this time, as their effort to borrow foreign aid didn’t even pay off.

“This is fine! We are climbing up steadily. After a while, we would be able to reach the top too! After all, we still have enough time!” Nian Ciyu said optimistically.

“Well, shall we wait and see?” Nine Territory Lord said sardonically. They didn’t have any high expectations for Heavenly Edict Divine Territory as they never produced any decent results since a long time ago!

Nian Ciyu could only hope that Yi Tianyun somehow climbed through the rank! She believed that Yi Tianyun would surely have the power to do so!

“I will leave Heavenly Edict Divine Territory’s fate to you!” Nian Ciyu said as she prayed for Yi Tianyun’s success. As if Yi Tianyun heard Nian Ciyu’s prayer, the number of tokens he had kept increasing as time went by!

Not long after Nian Ciyu prayed for Yi Tianyun’s success, Yi Tianyun had already gathered 56 tokens! It was shocking as Yi Tianyun got a lot of Tokens alone in so little time! Nian Ciyu immediately stood up as she couldn’t believe what she was seeing.

“Elder Nian, what’s wrong?” Heavenly Edict Territory Lord asked.

“Look at that!” Nian Ciyu said as she pointed at Yi Tianyun’s name. Nine Territory Lord couldn’t help but follow Nian Ciyu’s fingertip and saw that Yi Tianyun, the cultivator under Heavenly Edict Divine Territory’s banner, rose in the ranking quickly! It was surprising as Yi Tianyun was close to the bottom the last time he saw him, but suddenly rose to the top 100!

Although Yi Tianyun was still around the bottom 100, it was already a great achievement!

“How is this possible? He isn’t even the foreign aid!” Nine Territory Lord said as he looked closely. He knew that Heavenly Edict Divine Territory’s foreign aid name was Xiao Murong, and he saw that Xiao Murong’s rank still didn’t rise that quickly!

Nevertheless, the Elders of Heavenly Edict Divine Territory were in uproar as they finally saw a glimmer of hope for Heavenly Edict Divine Territory to win this War of Ascension!

“Thank you!” Nian Ciyu said with a smile on her face. She knew that Yi Tianyun couldn’t hear her, but she was relieved nonetheless.
