Chapter 1294: Chapter 989: Mediocre Goods

At the same time, outside Kyoto, less than fifty kilometers from the city.

Numerous verdant trees formed an endless sea of foliage, decorating the pure white buildings in the canyon, resembling a fairyland. The sign ’Land of Souls’ hung on the gate remained spotless.

Declared to the public as a new soul therapy clinic known for its gimmicks, in reality, it was the headquarters of a folk religious group. In a country notorious for all sorts of chaotic religious groups, such places are not uncommon; rather, they are too numerous to count.

The Sect Hierarch claimed to be the incarnation of Jesus on earth, never showing his true face, but only preaching to the people from behind a veil, expelling disasters, which is not rare, and among the believers and patrons, there were no shortage of wealthy tycoons. This headquarters was also built at the cost of tens of billions of Yingzhou currency, designed by a famous architectural master.

In the eyes of the believers, this was more like an earthly Heavenly Kingdom, an ideal land. Only those who have followed the Sect Hierarch for years have the qualification to donate all their assets and enter here, living a self-sufficient pastoral life, farming, cultivating, enjoying a fulfilling life away from the mundane, and after death forever entering the Heavenly Land of Souls, free from worries.

No matter how you look at it, it’s nothing more than an ordinary group of scammers.

Those who are sober scoff, but it’s not worth confronting such a group with many Fools, and once sufficient money is given to all parties, naturally no blind police will come looking for trouble.

At the most sacred time of the day, under the midday sun, in the hall, the devout praises and songs of the believers could be heard.

”Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me; I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see...”

In the pure white hall, the walls depicted a peaceful scene.

World unity.

Regardless of race, regardless of ethnicity, regardless of young or old, people all over the world holding hands, smiling at the hopeful future. As droplet by droplet of blood slid down the walls, those pale faces were stained with a trace of red.

The eyes became more vivid when viewed from above.

In the darkness that not even the Sun could illuminate, countless viscous blood surged like Snakes, streaming thread by thread from those vacant shells, turning into a crimson blood pool.

Surging.

The mysterious Sect Hierarch of the past, the exalted Sacrifice, even the Holy Envoys are now immersed in the profound blood pool, singing with abandon.

Gradually melting bones raised their heads, basking in the sunlight leaking from the colored windows above, the hollow eye sockets overflowed with light of happiness and tranquility, as the pitch-black blood water like mud flowed out, passing through serene smiles, dripping thread by thread.

Under the sweeping of the baton, the sacred anthem reached its peak!

”Am I not quite musically talented myself!”

On the highest sacred altar, the young conductor looked back at the guests behind him, smiling: ”Wouldn’t you agree?”

When the Evil Ghosts from Mt. Oe invaded the headquarters of the Spirit Reasoning Club, they were met with such a hideously terrifying scene.

The moment stared into those eyes, one felt malice from Hell and the deep cold of the Sea.

In an instant, the orders from Shangfeng were discarded.

The mission situation has changed...

”Go!”

The commander with the codename Green Demon stepped back.

But it was already too late.

Outside the canyon, sunlight abruptly ceased, endless darkness descended, the massive phantom of Ascend to a high ranking slowly rose, coiling around the entire Land of Souls like a Python encircling its prey.

Huge eyes gazed down, casting malicious light like icy stars.

The Mystic Ritual rooted in countless corpses and Source Substance of pain at the deepest part of the canyon had completely enveloped, sealed the place,

Innumerable Curses fell like rain from the sky, shrouding everything.

A colossal, hideous silhouette emerged from the gray storm, roaming in this Hell on Earth like a Giant trampling the ground, echoing thunderously.

This place has already become Hell on Earth!

Even long before the Wood Cottage arrived here...

”Why leave once you’ve arrived?”

On the altar, the Wood Cottage pointed the baton, crudely carved from bones, at the vacant Evil Ghosts, smiling: ”Why don’t you come and sing too!”

In that instant, endless darkness devoured everything.

Eternal wailing and lamentation resounded, tearing through the false hymn, echoing in the darkness.

When the long chant finally ended, in the blood pool, only numerous molten sticky remnants were left, intertwined, faces hollow with folly or pain, immersed in endless nightmares or fantasies, never to awaken.

Soon, a chilling chewing sound was heard.

Thousands of voices rose from the blood pool, under the Mystic Ritual of evil kind devouring one another, those shattered Souls immersed in infinite greed started madly consuming everything around.

Only the bone baton in the Wood Cottage’s hand spun, like a ladle stirring a cauldron, invisible flames burning everything, until even the unfathomable blood pool ran dry.

Only an ever-twisting Abyssal Womb convulsed within, on its infant-like deformed body, a thousand mouths emitted shrill cries and wails.
