Chapter 1230: Chapter 940: Naughty Kid

When the second trainee stood on the stage, Huai Shi almost couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

It seemed that the sight of Huai Shi tearing apart heavy armor as easily as pulling scallions had left a deep impression, causing him to throw caution to the wind. Even though Huai Shi promised not to use an ability beyond ordinary people, the second trainee who stepped onto the stage still dared not slack off.

Since wearing armor was the same as not wearing it, he simply chose not to wear it. Sacrificing meaningless defensive power, he gained mobility and adaptability in return.

At this moment, Arkady was wearing only a suit resembling a tight swimsuit, although light and thin, it was covered with a dense and complex fish scale-like material over his entire body, clearly not lacking in defensive power.

Holding two traditional Cossack Chakshi horse knives, after saluting Huai Shi, he began circling and probing him.

”Don’t worry, I won’t launch an offensive first.”

Huai Shi repeatedly assured, ”Are you sure you don’t want to switch to a different set of equipment? This set lacks any instructional significance.”

”It’s fine, I will do everything in my power to pose a threat to you.”

Arkady grinned, and amidst his circling, the two horse knives in his hands kept spinning and transforming, being held upright or in reverse, as if they naturally grew in his hands, showing skilled technique, flawless.

Within five steps, everything was within his attack range.

Cossack’s horse knives were originally known for their speed, invincible in cavalry duels, and for Templar Knights’ challengers, achieving the speed of a steed is a breeze.

Clearly determined to find an opening to strike and disengage with a single blow, never staying to fight.

Huai Shi sighed.

”A hand-to-hand versus dual knives duel, there’s completely no instructional significance...” He helplessly scratched his head, ”Why does everyone skip basic skills and focus on high-level maneuvers instead?”

Opportunity!

In the instant when Huai Shi scratched his head, Arkady, lurking by the side, brightened his eyes, instinctively seized the opportunity, and the flash of the knife sliced through space, grazing Huai Shi’s chest.

He succeeded!

Then, he saw Aleksey’s disappointed gaze.

”When raising your hand, your elbow was two centimeters too high, don’t rush pursuit of success.”

Behind him, Huai Shi reminded, ”There is a problem with your step coordination, your upper and lower body are disconnected, here.”

Saying so, he reached out and tapped Arkady’s lower back.

Lightly, casually.

Yet, Arkady staggered, charging forward two steps, unable to stand firm from the gentle push.

That was precisely an overlooked link in power conveyance, a spot even he himself never noticed, yet it had been so easily exposed.

He retreated like getting an electric shock, turned around, prepared himself.

”You should be more steady, Arkady.” Huai Shi suggested, ”Before achieving results, you should first learn to preserve yourself. When fighting life and death, having a gambling mentality is a bad habit.”

That being said, when it was his turn to gamble, he never missed a chance.

The problem is, even if he failed, he could still handle it, but for others, they probably couldn’t.

After a brief pause for breath, Arkady took a deep breath, rallied, and undoubtedly charged again at Huai Shi, speed suddenly increasing, the two horse knives in his hands intersectingly slashing down.

After having his reality seen through, he chose to go for broke!

”Always being so reckless will lead to an early death——”

Facing the flanking flashes of knives, Huai Shi sighed, reached out, casually gripped his wrist, and with a sudden jolt, Arkady’s left hand fingers involuntarily loosened, the horse knife fell into Huai Shi’s hand, blocking the right chop, immediately after, Huai Shi stepped forward, shoulder colliding into his chest, cutting off his breath, causing him to cough and retreat.

Yet Huai Shi in hand had the horse knife slashing towards his face.

The exclamation rang out.

Arkady instinctively leaned back, yet the next moment his feet were swept by Huai Shi, falling embarrassingly to the ground, and then, a horse knife flew towards his face.

It nailed onto the plastic ground beside his ear, buzzing.

”When facing an opponent far stronger than you, remain calm, never make mistakes easily——because once you make a mistake, you’ll be at other’s mercy.”

Huai Shi looked down, speaking seriously, ”You should try honing your basic skills one more time, rushing will only leave yourself with hard-to-eradicate flaws after a short-term rise.”

”Tha-thank you for the guidance.”

Arkady swallowing difficultly, suppressed the urge to breath heavily. Red-faced, got up from the ground, exited the platform.

”A bunch of fools.”

Aleksey shook his head sighing.

After hearing of Huai Shi’s arrival, he excitedly and eagerly requested Aleksey to bring this Sword of Disaster over for guidance. But in reality, how could Arikexai not realize what these jittery guys really were.

Requesting guidance was certainly true, but more than that, wasn’t it just wanting to understand the gap between themselves and master?

Losing certainly wasn’t cause for regret either, and no one thought they could win. However, if improvement or a breakthrough could be achieved, wouldn’t it be better?

It was nothing but the vanity at play.

In short, could be regarded as disrespect.

That was the Sword of Disaster even Regional bishops would treat with courtesy, the self-proclaimed King of Tanbo amid Current Circumstances!

Just a moment of guidance, what significance does it have for you bunch of novices who haven’t thoroughly honed even their basic skills?

The real habilidad is gained through day-night toil, 365 days a year of unreserved practice, as well as countless times of concentrated thinking and exercise!
