Chapter 1018: Chapter 789: Good News (Part 2)

Just like the promised land mentioned in the holy book, it not only attracts Third Stage Sublimators and Beastified Characteristic Beings from the Current Circumstances and the Border, but also draws those within Hell with this precious hope, following the flag.

This pressure is simply too overwhelming, leaving him at a loss.

”You don’t need to do anything special, Huai Shi, just keep doing what you’ve always done.” Shah laughed, ”Everyone will believe in you.”

”Let me tell you a secret.”

He said, ”Haven’t you noticed the similarities between the Heavenly Kingdom Genealogy and the Beastified Characteristic Beings?”

Huai Shi was puzzled, then vaguely sensed something: ”Are you talking about... Abyss Trait?”

”That’s right, the adaptation of Heavenly Kingdom Genealogy to Hell, this expertise was inspired by the Beastified Characteristic Beings.”

Shah said, ”In the past, there were quite a few Beastified Characteristic Beings within the Heavenly Kingdom Genealogy.

Even at the beginning, they had a purpose to solve the problem of Hell sediment corrosion within it... Although not fully successful, they at least took the crucial step.

The upcoming future will rely on your new generation to continue perfecting it.”

As he said, he gave a thumbs-up: ”The journey is long and heavy, young man, keep it up!”

”...Alright.”

Huai Shi sighed.

When you have too many fleas, you don’t itch, and too much debt doesn’t worry you. The Book of Fate has already been stuffed on him, why fear more burden?

It was just that upon completion of the inspection and being able to leave, he still hesitated a bit.

Confirming again and again.

”Is my current state truly safe, Mr. Shah?”

He felt the immense pressure within his Ruins, like a thorny presence, ”After all, it’s a fragment of the Eternal Beast, still a bit unnerving. Will there be any accidents?”

Huai Shi didn’t want to wake up one day and turn into something bizarre.

After all, the reputation of the Eternal Beast is there.

To speak frankly, even if it’s just a piece as small as dandruff, the Element of Destructive is still the Element of Destructive. Is it somewhat disgraceful for a Third Stage Sublimator to suppress it?

”Rest assured, strictly speaking, the part of the tissue in your Ruins is merely a derivative of the Eternal Beast— even among rulers, there’s an embarrassing character like Rotten Dream, right?

Thus, apart from bringing some characteristics and carrying a name, it actually can’t compare with the Eternal Beast, and the threat level is still within control.”

Shah comforted: ”Typically, encountering such a situation would require a trip to our private room, but in your case, with the Ivory Tower, archaeological team, and Abyss Development Bureau all backing you up, there’s certainly no problem.

Besides, given your status and ability, there’s no need to waste time here; you can go home and recuperate yourself.”

After saying this, he pinched his chin, thought about it, and then said.

”Anyway, I’ve told you quite a bit today, so let me tell you one more secret— the real threat of the Eternal Beast doesn’t lie in this level of tissue, but in its essence.”

He said, ”Huai Shi, in this world enveloped by the three great seals, nothing is eternal.”

This is the proof of survival for the Current Circumstances, and also the secret hidden by the Astronomical Society.

The First Lock・Chalatustra’s Great Secret, cut off the chaos and disorder that came with the demise of Gods, establishing new rules and physical laws, giving all things a new order.

The Second Blockade・Rainbow Bridge envelops the Current Circumstances and the Border, forming a bridge crucial for maintaining order.

These two, along with the Sea of Silver and the once-fallen Heavenly Kingdom, are the great creations established by the Astronomical Society, defending the power and barrier of the Current Circumstances.

But ironically, in the three great seals, the last and most crucial layer poses the greatest threat to the various existences within Hell.”

Shah said: ”This isn’t an achievement from the Astronomical Society nor anyone’s creation, but the inherent foundational existence of the Current Circumstances itself—”

”—Third Lock・Everything is Gone!”

This is the inherent nature that differentiates the Current Circumstances from the Hell beneath it.

It does not possess order and life, but contains beginnings and endings, with the power to establish eternal cycles and transformations.

In Hell, immortal existences are as abundant as cattle, and terrifying creatures with immense power are also numerous. But no matter what kind of existence, once it enters the Current Circumstances, it is forcibly endowed with an inescapable fate.

No matter how perfect an existence is, it must inevitably face an end.

No matter how terrifying a monster is, it cannot evade death.

”Do you understand, Huai Shi? Even the Gods themselves, when their lifespan is exhausted, will die.”

Shah said, ”According to our calculations, even the Destructive Element·Eternal Beast, as long as the Astronomical Society pays a huge price, it can be killed.

But the result would be that with its death, the eternal toxin would spiral out of control, instantly enveloping everything, gifting this endless life indistinguishable from disaster to the whole world...

Then, all things will collectively receive a distorted eternity, each life greeting a chaotic mutation, the Current Circumstances completely descending into a Living Hell... something a thousand times more terrifying than Marshman’s syndrome will be brewed from within.

This is why it is deemed as a Destructive Element, and also the painful root of the Eternal Beast.”

Huai Shi fell into a stupor.

”Sounds quite ridiculous, right?”

Shah sympathetically lamented: ”It’s not that it cannot die, it can only live eternally. It’s not that it cannot be killed, but only if it lives can everything die.
