Chapter 920: Chapter 733: Pleasant Transaction

At this time, someone should step out and call: Revenge for the boss! Then, supporters will follow suit, everyone will rouse their spirits, seeking revenge for the boss, battling it out with the Huaizhi Gang.

But when looked upon by those eyes, even the air seemed to freeze.

No one spoke up.

Frozen in place, even if their numbers were ten times greater, their firepower a hundred times stronger...

”No one has any objections?”

Huai Shi asked, ”I prefer speaking plainly, if there’s any dissatisfaction, everyone can speak directly.”

Along with his words, screams echoed from outside, followed by the sound of heavy footsteps constantly emerging. Members of the Huaizhi Gang armed with long and short guns had already filed in, controlling the area from the outside to the inside.

In the silence, no one spoke again.

Only on the steps of the dance floor, the sound of blood dripping bit by bit. Scarlet color spread, reflecting in the man’s pupils, a fleeting red like it was imbued with unimaginable magic power, exposing the ferocious nature of the evil ghost beneath the exquisite facade.

Accumulating brutality and power, waiting to be unleashed and freed.

All it needed was a tiny spark...

Not knowing how much time passed, someone retreated a step, followed by the sound of a sword clattering to the floor. Amid Ueno’s shout, everyone gradually lowered their weapons, raising their hands pale-faced.

”Good, it looks like everyone here is sensible.”

Huai Shi nodded, ”So, is there anyone in charge here? The Angry Luo Group’s boss is gone, so what about the deputy? Who is it?”

All eyes turned toward a man at the back of the crowd, whose face instantly turned grim, wanting to say something but ultimately had to close his mouth, pushing aside people in front to come forward.

”It’s me.” He said.

Huai Shi looked down at the wine bottle in his hand and suddenly asked, ”Did you hear what I discussed with your boss before?”

The deputy nodded with a face ashen as iron.

”Very well, let’s do it that way then.”

Huai Shi nodded, ”As mentioned before, according to the Angry Luo Group’s boss’s last wish, half of the future earnings from this place will go to his group—calculate, how much for a one-off buyout?”

On the phone, after Takuma punched the calculator for a while, he said, ”Based on previous earnings and estimates, within four years, excluding other shareholders and operating costs, under the most ideal conditions, the profits we can receive should be roughly around forty million US Dollars. Half of that is twenty-five million.”

”Do we have enough on the account?” Huai Shi asked.

”The remaining payment from the Yamada Society arrived yesterday, so for now, we have sufficient funds.” Takuma replied.

”Then send it over, a promise is a promise.” Huai Shi propped his chin, casually waving his finger, ”Get him a few more high monks, buy a few dharma names, find a good place, let him transcend peacefully.”

After a brief silence, a crisp notification sound came from the pocket of the corpse on the ground.

Everyone lowered their heads.

Huai Shi waved his hand, indicating they could check assuredly. When the deputy pulled out his phone, he couldn’t help but gasp.

Dumbfounded.

The money had indeed arrived.

The deputy’s face grew ever more grim, struggling to lift his head to look at Huai Shi.

He didn’t believe the man before him was any righteous man or saint keeping his word, nor would he foolishly think he was a trustworthy good person.

But no matter how he thought, he couldn’t understand... why did he still find it necessary to do this?

In the dead silence, Huai Shi lifted the second bottle of Bourbon brought by the waiter, drinking on his own, suddenly asking, ”Now, can this place be considered my property?”

The deputy stiffly swallowed his saliva, nodding.

”So, we’ve completed a deal then.”

Huai Shi picked up another glass, placed it in his hand, and raised his hand to clink glasses with him, ”Good deal?”

Those tranquil eyes silently watched him, waiting without a sound, until he could say nothing more and drained the wine in his glass, ”Good deal...”

”Alright, now onto the second question.”

Huai Shi leaned in his chair, looked down, gazing at his appearance, curiously asking:

”—Coming to my place, why haven’t you worn ties?”

.

.

In the afternoon, before having recovered from the disputes over properties and territorial grabs, two bombshell news already spread to every member of the Alliance.

The first news was that the industry dispute between the Angry Luo Group and the Huaizhi Gang had been completely resolved, with the Angry Luo Group receiving twenty-five million from the Huai Zhisu People.

The Huaizhi Gang surprisingly conceded, actually bowed down quietly, obediently handing over the money.

For a while, the late Angry Luo Group leader’s reputation experienced unprecedented enhancement and elevation, this last deal truly worth it.

Every member of the Angry Luo Group shared this joy, holding red envelopes in hand, feeling proud for a moment.

By comparison, the second news seemed hardly worth mentioning.

—From now on, there would be no more Angry Luo Group.

Under the earnest urging of all leadership and unanimous approval and request from all members, everyone resolutely carried out the new leader’s order, then merged all territory, manpower, and assets of the Angry Luo Group under the Huaizhi Corporation.

Not only did they take the money and switch sides, but also expanded their territory.

This time the Angry Luo Group hit the jackpot, while the Huaizhi Gang suffered heavy losses!

Everyone praised the top leadership’s wise and discerning decisions.

At this moment, it had been just over an hour and a half since Huai Shi walked out from the police headquarters.

And the news of the Angry Luo Group leader’s death had already reached the table of the four big bosses.

”What does everyone think?”

Tobio opened his mouth and asked, ”There’s no need to avoid the matter of my relationship with Huai Zhisu. Although I am the general president, everyone can speak freely here.”

The permission dog editor wanted to discuss with everyone in the comment section.

But no one spoke.

In Tobio’s silent gaze, Arakawa put down the cigar in his hand, sighed, and took on the role of the bad guy: ”Previously, the Tiger King Group could cite revenge as an explanation, but this time, it’s over the top, right?”

”In the past, private fights without the approval of the five big bosses resulted in a bloodbath,” the female head of the Ochiai Family nodded in agreement, ”Huai Zhisu People have gone too far this time.”

”What about Chiba?” Tobio said, ”What do you think?”

Chiba Ryouni smoked expressionlessly and finally extinguished the cigarette in the ashtray: ”The Angry Luo Group is my people, this time it’s my lack of discipline, the responsibility is mine.”

”—But Huai Zhisu People breaking the rule and killing their own allies without permission is truly ignoring the rules, right?” Tobio supplemented the last words for him.

After a brief silence, the elder sighed: ”I know everyone thinks I favor Huai Shi, won’t let anything happen to him. Actually, I’m planning how to do it, but I cannot allow the rules of the alliance to be broken. On this matter, I agree with everyone’s opinions.”

Others were stunned for a moment: ”If that’s the case...”

Tobio suddenly spoke: ”But before that, I hope everyone can take a look at this.”

The secretary stepped forward and distributed the data just printed from the printer to everyone.

”Since last night till now, after the Hisashiga House’s downfall, its loyal remnants have launched four counterattacks, but those were inconsequential and have been completely extinguished.

However, internal friction and struggle within the alliance, including the conflict between Huaizhi Gang and Angry Luo Group, have occurred thirteen times in total... Blood was spilled in eleven instances, with three involving people’s names, of which two leaders have already been personally punished by me, their fingers are here.”

Tobio raised his hand and tossed two small boxes on the table, his expression calm: ”But this is not something two fingers and a few heads can resolve.”

In the silence, everyone looked at the information in their hands and frowned.

Even under the suppression of the alliance, the disputes and friction sparked by the Hisashiga House’s assets still occurred.

Money stirs people’s minds.

This certainly has reasons, and quite a few among them had deep grudges beforehand. To remain stable without chaos and avoid more trouble amidst haste, it’s already considered powerful suppression.

But this cannot conceal the violation of ’rules’.

Rules are crucial for the survival of an Extreme Path Organization.

After forsaking society’s laws to lean into the darkness, they rely even more on the existence of rules. Only with rules, can the game continue, ensuring everyone’s existence is prolonged.

Now, as the shadow of the Order of Nothingness presses down daily, under the oppression of other organizations, everyone has already glimpsed the chaotic signs budding within the alliance.

”This trend must be curbed,” the fierce lady of the Ochiai Family coldly said, ”I think strict handling is necessary.”

”I agree.” Arakawa also rarely refrained from dissent.

After a long silence, Chiba Ryouni bitterly smiled and shook his head, looking at Tobio: ”I think, General President, you probably already have some plans, right?”

”I feel that rather than forcible suppression, it would be better to go with the people’s wishes.”

Tobio Souhei spoke, ”The old rules were to maintain stability, but in this situation, is stability still necessary to maintain? Everyone is uncertain, the enemy is numerous while we are few, since a grand future cannot be seen, then we can only look at now.

Even if we suppress this wave, what does it matter? Blocking is worse than diverting. Even if there are future troubles, we can ride out this wave and slowly resolve it later.”

The elder lifted his head and said seriously: ”Indeed rules are important, the essence of Extreme Path is survival of the fittest, if we forget even this principle, what’s the difference between being a tyrant in a rat’s nest?

If someone is dissatisfied with the distribution, then let’s see each person’s abilities.”

Arakawa instinctively wanted to oppose, but he didn’t speak. Ochiai Yuriko’s expression changed, and she finally stayed silent. In contemplation, Chiba Ryouni finally realized.

”Hey, old man, you wouldn’t be planning to practice troops before the Order of Nothingness, right?”

”After stabilizing for too long, wanting them to remember they are a shadowy Extreme Path, tying their heads to their belts takes effort—”

Tobio tapped the cigarette holder, his eyebrows drooping: ”Just consider it practice for the kids, they need to know their own courage. As long as guns aren’t involved, if the damage isn’t significant, it’s within the tolerance range.

What has already been divided need not be mentioned, at least things not yet divided can be gathered up and put together.

As for the alliance’s dignity, everyone need not worry. If loosened here, it can be tightened elsewhere. Everyone can use this opportunity to sweep away those below who muddy the waters and have ulterior motives... prepare comprehensively.”

As he spoke, Tobio calmly laid out the established articles, all-encompassing, clearly prepared long ago. No one knew how long he had been gearing this up.

Furthermore, arrangements for the upcoming division of interests and separation of powers were evidently already in place.

No reason to oppose could be found.

Moreover, everyone had long been dissatisfied with the current lax status of the alliance.

Until the end, the slowest to react was Arakawa, finally realizing: Damn, when all was said and done, wasn’t this just sheltering Huai Zhisu People?

Even implicitly rewarding him!
